A Turkish veterinary physician, identified by his initials M.G., was detained over his alleged ties to the Gulen movement on Tuesday.
Removed from his job as a vet physician, M.G. had had an outstanding arrest warrant as part of an investigation launched against followers of the Gulen movement in Kastamonu province.
M.G. was detained in Samsun, a norther province 300-km away from Kastamonu.
Turkish government blames Gulenists for the July 15, 2016 failed coup while the group denies involvement.
More than 150,000 people have lost their jobs over Gulen links, over 150,000 have passed through police custody and some 90,000 have been put in pre-trial detention since the summer of 2016.
