Oktay Candemir, a Turkey-based Kurdish journalist, has been taken into custody in Van province.
According to the GazeteKarınca news portal, Candemir was detained by Van police during a police raid on Friday morning.
In September 2017, he was given a prison sentence of 18 months for “terrorism propaganda” over news reports.
