Celtics center Enes Kanter, –,a longtime critic of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, is kinda-censored in Turkey. Yet, it seems that Turkish video editors should brush up on their final cut skills.
Kanter shared a video footage in which he was poorly cencored, and said: “Very Sad! This is how Turkish basketball Websites in Turkey censor me now during @celtics games. I feel bad for @NBA fans in Turkey. They can’t watch basketball properly because of dictatorship.”
Kanter is accused of membership in Gulen group, with his social media posts cited as “evidence” in the extradition request that Turkey has prepared.
Turkey had revoked Kanter’s passport in 2017 and attempted to have him deported him from Romania during one of his international trips.
