Turkish gendarmerie with duty military-type weaponry reportedly raided an Assyrian church in Turkey’s Nusaybin district on Thursday, detaining three Assyrian citizens, the ANF news reported.
Among the detainees are Aho Bileçen, the priest of the church, Josef Yar, the headman of the Üçköy neighborhood, and Musa Taştekin, an Assyrian man in the scene.
Neither the reason for the detention, nor the whereabouts of the detainees are currently unknown.
