The number of coronavirus patients being treated in intensive care is continuing to rise, increasing from 803 to 846 on Monday, according to a chart posted on Twitter by Health Minister Fahrettin Koca.
Turkey registered 1,212 more coronavirus cases today, bringing the total number to 188,897.
Meanwhile, the death toll reached 4,974 with an increase of 24 in the last twenty-four hours, the chart indicated.
The country has conducted nearly 3 million tests since March.
The chart showed that 161,533 people have recovered in Turkey since the start of the outbreak. The first case of coronavirus was announced on March 11.
