A total of 332,884 people have been investigated over their suspected ties to the Gulen group since the July 15, 2016 failed coup, according to Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu.
Of those, over 101,000 were placed in pre-tiral detention over similar charges, the Bold news portal reported.
Supporters of the group are accused of coup participation since the Turkish government holds the group responsible for a failed coup in July 2016 and considers it a terrorist organization.
Turkish authorities often reveal conflicting numbers regarding the ongoing purge. In May 2019, Soylu claimed that a total of 511,000 people were detained over their suspected ties to the Gulen group.
In March 2019, a total of 500,650 people have been investigated over similar accusations, according to Ministry of Justice statistics.
