An 80-year-old Kurdish woman, named Makbule Özer, has been released after spending some four months in prison in Van province, according to Mezopotamya news portal.
She was arrested by a Turkish court on May 9 over alleged links to a “terrorist” organization.
Özer was sentenced to 2 years in prison. Her husband, Hadi Özer, has also been in prison over similar charges.
