Turkish police have arrested at least 14 female university students in midnight raids in Karabük, a town and the capital district of Karabük Province in the Black Sea region of Turkey.
According to Turkish journalist Sevinç Özarslan, the students are accused of having links to the Gülen group, accused by the government of masterminding a coup attempt in 2016. The group denies any involvement.
More than 500,000 people have been investigated over ties to the group in Turkey so far.
