At least 13 women, including university students, was sent to prison on Tuesday by an Antalya court over alleged links to the Gulen group, which the government accuses of masterminding a coup attempt in 2016. The group denies any involvement.
According to Turkish Journalist Sevinç Özarslan, the women are accused of attempting to re-establish the Gulen organization in Turkey.
More than 500,000 people have been investigated over ties to the group in Turkey so far.
